What You Will Learn

Attendees can expect to spend 8-9 hours in one day learning a multitude of skills. You will receive hands on training from local and out of state expert instructors, along with manufacturing representatives for extrication tools, nozzles, and other firefighting equipment. This is training you are not likely to receive within your own fire hall.

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch Served. Bring your own gear.

Tonasket Fire Spring Training's Goal is to get local fire departments together for a day of training (AT NO COST, versus many other trainings that may cost hundreds and last for days), not only to hone skills and get up-to-date knowledge, but to create comradery in a less stressful environment. When the time comes to work together on a mutual aid call or a large fire, the firefighters have a background of both skills and knowing each other.

ABOUT US

Tonasket Fire Spring Training

In 2019, Co-founder and trainer Adam Meli along with two co-firefighters Luke Kresek and Stephen Kresek attended a two and a half day firefighting training workshop in Oliver, British Columbia. They were so enthused and inspired they decided to put together a training day in Tonasket, WA. Local departments participated in the initial training day which was a great success. Tonasket Fire Spring Training is now a yearly event. Each year, highly skilled experts from CA, NV, OR, ID and WA instruct classes throughout the training day. Manufacturer representatives for extrication tools, nozzles, and other firefighting equipment educate and instruct on the specialized functionality of their products.
